Siltherm VacuPanel (VIP) is a high-performance microporous insulation product, with lambda value ≤0,0043 W/mK. Our vacuum insulation panels (VIPs) have a microporous insulation core, which is a blend of pyrogenic silica and a filament reinforcement. The core is encapsulated in an ultra-low permeable barrier film that comprises multiple metallised polymer layers and is sealed under vacuum.

It combines the properties of a microporous insulation which is a blend of pyrogenic silica and a filament reinforcement with the advantages of vacuum insulation technology, resulting in extremely low thermal conductivity and low insulation thickness. The core is encapsulated in an ultra high barrier film which is then sealed under vacuum. This results in the exceptional insulating properties of our Siltherm VacuPanel. Our vacuum insulation panel can deliver benefits in terms of space optimisation, panel thickness optimisation, and extended storage cycles. VacuPanel is totally self-supporting, pressure resistant and easy to use; special process techniques and innovative formulations enable our vacuum insulation panel to deliver outstanding thermal performance and R-value coupled with long term durability.
